We recently attended the British Aphasiology Society (BAS) Conference 2026 in Cardiff which brought together researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience under the theme "Living well with aphasia". The conference provided an excellent opportunity to network and share our work. The team contributed to the programme in a number of ways.
Rosemary presented as part of the symposium "New Avenues in Aphasia Rehabilitation", highlighting emerging directions in aphasia treatment and research.
Kerry presented a poster, "Words or sentences first in aphasia therapy apps? A feasibility study and case series", which explored different approaches to structuring therapy within aphasia rehabilitation apps.
Claudia gave a presentation entitled "Proximal and distal outcomes of a new sentence therapy app for aphasia", sharing findings on the impact of a novel digital sentence therapy.
